Listen for the sounds of migrating geese and hooting owls as we take a walk at Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. Watch the nearly full “blue moon” as it rises and shines its light over the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. We will walk the trail and road from parking lot ”L” to the confluence. Bring a flashlight, insect repellant and a water bottle. Do not wear open-toed shoes. For the safety of participants and our staff, MDC asks all guests to observe social distancing guidelines and maintain at least 6 feet from others. Bringing and wearing face coverings is encouraged when indoors, or any time visitors are unable to maintain at least 6 feet from others.
