Cooking outdoors is a great compliment to many other outdoor activities. Whether you are camping, fishing, hunting, or enjoying your backyard, this program will add another element to your outdoor experience.

Do you have a family heirloom cast iron pan collecting dust in the corner? Well dust it off and learn how cast iron can improve your cooking skills. This program will focus on care and cleaning of cast iron cookware, including proper seasoning of the metal. We will also provide demonstration and a simple recipe for cast iron Dutch ovens. (ages 12+) Please make sure that your MDC account includes an accurate email address, so that you can receive a link to the virtual program. Registration ends 2 hours before program begins.
