Missouri River Masterpiece Autumn Adventure Registration required (adults only) Many of us drive over the Missouri River daily without giving it a second thought. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to join in on an exploration of Missouri’s most magnificent natural and cultural resource in a canoe or kayak? Join us to celebrate this incredible masterpiece in our own backyard! Float:MDC will provide canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD’s. It is magic on the river as autumn leaves begin their colorful parade. You will feel the breeze on your face, absorb the sunshine and brilliant blue sky and hear the quaking cottonwood leaves during a journey you will never forget. We will set out in canoes or kayaks on a 14-mile float trip on the Platte and Missouri Rivers from the Schimmel City Access in Farley, MO. to the Platte Landing Access in Parkville, MO.
