Did you know that most earthworms are actually not native to the United States and were brought over from Europe by the settlers? These slimy, tunneling critters have been known to be great for gardens and as fishing bait. Earthworms can have enormous negative effects in forest ecosystems, however. Learn from naturalists about just how destructive these creatures can be and how you can help stop their spread into untouched forest ecosystems. Registration required.
