| The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites new hunters to attend a free virtual squirrel hunting clinic and in-person mentored hunt in Boone County. The virtual program will be Thursday, October 1 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. An in-person mentored hunt will take place in Boone County on Saturday, October 3 from 8:00am-2:00pm. More information about the virtual program will be provided to registered participants closer to the date of the program. Participants in the mentored hunt need to meet all hunter education requirements detailed at www.mdc.mo.gov/huntereducation. Participants are allowed to bring their own firearms or firearms and ammunition will be made available upon request at no cost. |
