Registration begins August 15 (12+) Can’t tell an elm from an elderberry? Oak from an Osage Orange? Join us for a great introduction to some of Missouri’s common trees and shrubs right here on the nature center trails. This introductory level program requires no prior experience. You will learn tricks and tools to help you remember the identification for the forest’s towering trees. This in person program requires participants to practice social distancing and wear a face mask. Bring a water bottle, sturdy shoes, and a notepad if you wish. Please note this hike will cover about 1 mile over some steep and uneven terrain, though at a very slow pace. Registration ends 9/12/20 at 11:00 am. |
