Watch the setting sun from the highest point at Columbia Bottom as its light enhances the rich colors of the fields and prairies. Walk by the silvery light of the nearly Hunters Moon to the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Bring insect repellant and water bottle. Do not wear open-toed shoes. Meet at lot “K” about 4/ ¾ miles from the front entrance. For the safety of participants and our staff, MDC asks all guests to observe social distancing guidelines and maintain at least 6 feet from others. Bringing and wearing face coverings is encouraged when indoors, or any time visitors are unable to maintain at least 6 feet from others.
