Many people have heard the soft coo of doves along the edges of fields and forests in Missouri during early mornings or in the evening. These quiet, eerie calls lend the name “mourning” to these birds. However, they are not the only dove in our state. In this virtual program you will learn about three common species of dove that can be found in Missouri.
