Come on out to Cosmo Bethel Lake and join us for some fly fishing! In this clinic we will teach the basics of fly fishing. There will be an intro to fly fish portion where we will go over some of the history behind it, then go into what all you need to get started with fly fishing and how to use all these things. We will also be going over the difference between using flies and using lures. To finish it all out you will learn how to cast and then get to do some fishing! This is a great way to try something new with the family! If you like fishing but have been looking for more of a challenge I offer you to come on out and see just what fly fishing is all about. Again, this is a beginner’s course, so no experience is need, this is definitely a great way to get together and have lots of fun! Make sure to wear the appropriate clothing, and bring a water or something to drink if you would like. Also if you are 16 or older you must have a fishing license. Location Information

Cosmo-Bethel Lake is a 6-acre lake located within Cosmo-Bethel Park. This area is owned and maintained by the City of Columbia.
Directions:

In Columbia, take Providence Road south, then Southhampton west two blocks, then Bethel north to Cosmo-Bethel Park.

Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be a minimum age of 15 years old by 8/26/2020.
