Registration required (all ages) The ability to make rope or cordage from plant fibers is an ancient skill essential to surviving in the wilds. We will learn to make simple cordage using the same plants Native Americans harvested from Missouri wild prairies to make bowstrings, fishing nets and clothing. Presented outdoors for proper social distancing. Participants, please meet the naturalist at the pavilion on the south side of the Discovery Center. Face coverings are strongly encouraged. |
