Additional Information: | Instructed by: |
The beavers have been very busy at Columbia Bottom, and the large number of fallen trees are evidence of their work! We will examine the beaver’s adaptations that make them a truly unique animal. After inspecting the beaver trees, we will walk under the full worm moon to watch and listen for the sounds of migrating geese, howling coyotes, hooting owls, and the other nightshift animals. Wear boots or shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Meet at the visitor center. |
