Walk-in (all ages) The Civil War was a tough time to survive no matter if you were a soldier or civilian, slave or freeman. Many of the skills they needed for day to day life have been forgotten by most in the 21st century. Join us for a day of rediscovery and learn about native medicinal plants, outdoor cooking, navigating using the environment and more. Special presentations include: Buffalo Soldiers at 10:30 a.m. and Molly Postlewait's LAMP OF FREEDOM at noon. |
