Join the Shoal Creek staff and MAKO fly fishers, for this two-part program designed for the beginner and expert alike. On Friday, December 6th, we will gather at the Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center in Joplin to talk fly fishing and fly tying with hands on demonstrations and local experts. We will also cover trout and other species of fish you can catch with fly fishing equipment, what fly’s and lures to use, and other strategies to catch more fish. Then, on Saturday December 14, join us at Roaring River State Park to practice your new skills and try out that new fly! All supplies will be provided but if you have your own fishing equipment feel free to bring it. Please register so we know how many to expect. All are welcome! ANDREW D RHODES
