Registration required. (Ages 6 and up. 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.) Are you interested in taking your family fishing, but aren’t sure how to begin? We will cover: basic equipment needed, knot-tying, baiting a hook, and how to handle fish in this beginner’s class. You’ll then have an opportunity to fish in our stocked pond at Walter Woods Conservation Area and develop confidence to take your family fishing. Equipment will be provided or you may also bring your own. All participants 16 years of age and older need to have a valid Missouri fishing license. No organized groups, please. KIMBERLY A BANNER
