This program includes handgun safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and safe storage.

| This event will be conducted over 2 evenings. The first evening will start from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at the Southeast Regional Office at 2302 County Park Drive. Participants will learn the basics of safety, operation of handguns, shooting stances, types of ammunition, etc. The second evening students will meet at the Apple Creek Conservation Area from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm for an evening of shooting revolver and semi-automatic handguns. Firearms and ammunition provided at no charge. Students are permitted to bring their own handguns to the range. A minimum of 6 students must be signed up by 9/20 to have this course. |
