Jakes stands for Junior Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship. This event is designed for children ages 6 to 12 and features a variety of activities related to the great outdoors. National Wild Turkey Federation members and the Twin Pines staff will present sessions that introduce and improve skills related to archery, air rifle, hunting, fishing, plants, wildlife and safety. Lunch will be served. Each participant will be entered in the event’s prize drawing, will receive a goodie bag and Jakes membership. Registration is advised.
