Join us for a day on the water to experience kayak fishing and river navigation for paddlers. Participants will learn information and safety about kayaking during a ground school portion of the class, then take to the water for roughly 6 miles along the Big Piney river. Participants aged 13 and older are welcome to register; those aged younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Previous kayaking experience is encouraged. Kayaks, paddles, life-jackets, and fishing equipment will be provided. Close-toed and close-heeled shoes are required. Participants older than 16 years will need a valid MO fishing license.
