Managed Deer Hunt Jay Henges Shooting Range Restricted Portion (Forest 44) Apply for the hunt, July 1 – 31 Hunting Dates October 21&22 To apply go to: https://mdc12.mdc.mo.gov/Applications/ManagedHunts/Main/ShowHunts Adults new to the sport of deer hunting will have a chance to see what all the excitement is about when the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) offers a mentored muzzleloader deer hunt for those age 18 and over. The hunt takes place at Forest 44 Conservation Area in High Ridge. The only requirement for participants is that they are new to deer hunting and have not yet harvested a deer. Both traditional side lock and modern inline muzzleloader firearms are permitted. Five hunters total will be chosen for the hunt by random drawing. Participating in the hunt is free of charge.
