A $20.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS AND REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNLESS WE RECEIVE THE DEPOSIT WITHIN ONE WEEK OF REGISTRATION. Checks should be mailed or hand delivered to Gorman Discovery Center 4750 Troost Ave, Kansas City MO 64110. Make checks payable to: Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation. Registration required beginning April 22 (adults) MANDATORY ORIENTATION: June 4 from 6-8 PM in Swope Park. Logistics of this float, Missouri River navigation and paddle techniques will be covered in this session. THE FLOAT: There is magic in the night as we experience the lively lights of Kansas City twinkling with the moon and stars on the Missouri River after dark, creating a masterpiece you will not soon forget! We will depart from Platte Landing Park in Parkville and leisurely paddle to the Kaw Point Access in the Fairfax district. Shuttle service will be provided. Presented in cooperation with the Missouri Humanities Council. Registration is not complete unless we receive your $20.00 refundable deposit within one week of registration.
