| On Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the basics of binocular use and bird identification will be presented with a focus on common bird calls. Participants should bring their own binoculars; however some binoculars will be available for use during the workshop. On Saturday, we will meet at the Royal Oaks entrance to Big Creek Conservation Area at 7:00 am to practice what we have learned. Birds should be calling and in their mating plumage. Participants should dress accordingly for the weather conditions. All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. |
