What’s next for the Pine Needlers? The answer is: the eighth block to your “prairie” themed quilt featuring the bluestem grass. Prairies are not only about the flowers that decorate the landscape but about the different grasses that act as the backdrop to their color. These grasses are tough, drought resistant and provide valuable forage for grazing animals and seed for a variety of other species. This program is designed for ages 16 and up.
