(Ages 6-16) A seed has to protect the life inside, travel away from the parent plant, wait for just the right conditions, and then sprout – sending roots down and leaves up and not the other way around. How does a seed do all that? Join us as we explore these and other interesting questions about seeds and sprouts. You can even make a seedling experiment to take home. Elizabeth S Cosbey
