The Missouri Department of Conservation and the Cape Girardeau County Master Gardeners are partnering for the thirteenth year to bring you our Native Plant Seminar and Sale. Suppliers will be on hand offering native plants and other things for sale between 8 am - 3 pm. If you would like to attend our free seminars, registration is required. Call or come by the Nature Center for a registration form. Registration begins February 1st. Nancy Lawson, author of The Humane Gardener, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s seminar. She will discuss how to nurture wildlife habitat and humane gardening philosophies. Other sessions at the seminar will include wild edibles, how to deal with invasive plants, native plant propagation, and how to raise butterflies. Registration required by March 1st. JAMIE S KOEHLER
