| Walk-in (all ages) Woodcraft is defined as knowledge of the woods, especially in reference to camping, hunting and other outdoor pursuits. Join us to lean how to light a campfire, swing an axe to split firewood and tap a backyard tree for syrup. Spend the day mastering these useful outdoor basics and others. Learn about the bounty of beavers an how the presettlement fur industry shaped our history. Properly prepared beaver meat tastes like roast beef. Stop by for a sample! There will also be kid's crafts and maple syrup tasting for the whole family. |
