| Fifth in the series, this month features the prairie chicken. Learn about this native bird, its habits and habitat while you create a quilt block based on this theme. By attending all twelve of the monthly programs, you will be able to complete a “prairie- based” quilt. This program is designed for ages 16 and up. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Reservations can be made by calling 888-283-0364 or on-line at www.mdc.mo.gov/twinpines.
