Learn from our experienced instructors wildlife identification, habits and habitats, regulations, safety, hunting strategies, equipment and game care. Attend this class to increase your success in the field.

| Are you interested in hunting but don't know where or how to begin? Join MDC staff and volunteers for a squirrel hunt for new hunters! Participants will learn safety, hunting techniques, and how to clean and prepare squirrel meat. Firearms, ammo, and mentors will be provided for all participants. Participants need to wear boots and clothing appropriate for the forecasted weather (earth-tone colors or camouflage). Some clothing is available upon request. |
