| SPECIAL EVENT: Into the Land of Oz Registration is required by calling 816-228-3766 to reserve your guided tour time. The forest is one of nature’s niches that is full of enchantment and wonder. There are always new and interesting things to learn about if you’re open to the magic of the forest. Join in on the fun as we meet Dorothy and all your favorite Wizard of Oz characters out on the trail to learn about what a niche is and how plants or animals make each complete. What is your niche? How do you fit in? PERFORMANCE TOURS: Performances leave every 15 minutes from 3:30-5:30 pm and from 6:00-8:30 pm. Event concludes at 9:15 pm. AT THE NATURE CENTER: During the event don't forget to complete your experience by strolling through the nature center to discover just what a niche is through crafts and activities and meet some live wild animals that play an important role in the forest niche at Burr Oak Woods. |
