Registration required. Meet at the nature center and drive to Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site in Ash Grove, and enjoy the interpretive trail. This is one of the sites that attest to the Boone families historic mark on our state history. The cost of the tour will be $3.50 per person. Some transportation is provided, but carpooling may be necessary. Bring lunch, water, insect repellent, $3.50 for the tour, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and come dressed for the weather.
