Chronic Wasting Disease Symposium Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center August 20 • Monday • 6-8:30 p.m. Registration is required, visit on-line at https://MDC.mo.gov/events. For more information call 314-301-1500. Join the Missouri Department of Conservation, in partnership with the Quality Deer Management Association and the Missouri Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for a CWD Symposium. Experts will be doing presentations about the effects of this deadly disease on the deer populations across the state of Missouri and beyond, including history, implications, citizen assistance programs, and agency response for management of this disease. The speakers, Jason Sumners, MDC resource science division chief, and Kip Adams, QDMA director of conservation, will be on hand for a post Q&A period following the program. JUDITH BETHEL
