On June 27, 1938, Rockwoods Reservation and its 1,440 acres were purchased by the Conservation Commission for $30/acre, making it the first purchased Conservation Area for all citizens of Missouri to enjoy. Join us as we celebrate the area, with a selfguided scavenger hunt hike, displays about the plants and animals that inhabit the area, and an “Ask the Forester” station. |
