**No Registration Required!** Citizen science is a way for the public to assist in population and distribution monitoring for all species of plants and wildlife. Come join us as species experts from all over the state survey for the plant and wildlife species at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center. Friday night activities include bat mist netting, spider sniffing surveys, moth surveys and more. Friday night is from 630pm to 11pm. Come and go as you please; but stop in at the registration table to sign up for your specific group. Activities on Saturday include a live owl from World Bird Sanctuary, songbird mist netting and banding, hummingbird trapping and banding, small mammal trapping, camera traps and scent stations, tree identification walks, Missouri native plant surveys, insect surveys, pond study survey, reptile and amphibian surveys and MORE! Saturday will begin at 7am and conclude at 2pm.
