Walk-in (adults) We can bring wildness and ecological value back to our cities. This challenge requires a new form of design that marries horticulture with ecology. Come explore how native plants fit into our urban landscape and how design strategies can help you create plantings attractive to people and wildlife. Claudia West is a leading voice in the emerging field of ecological planting design and is the co-author of the critically acclaimed book, Planting in a Post-Wild World. This program is presented in collaboration with Powell Gardens and the Kansas City Native Plant Initiative.
