This program includes rifle safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and safe storage.

| Join the staff of the Missouri Dept. of Conservation for an educational lesson in basic firearms safety. Families are invited to learn the basics of firearms safety, shooting techniques, equipment, target shooting, and much more. This program will consist of a classroom lesson followed by hands-on practical experience on the shooting range. There is no cost for this program. Participants may bring their unloaded and cased firearms. Discover Nature programs are designed to help Missourians explore nature & master outdoor skills together. |
