| (Ages 6 & up) Woodpeckers are wonderfully adapted to their way of life. If we had to pull out tasty bugs from inside the wood of tall trees, we might need ladders, safety harnesses, listening devices, hammers, chisels, drills and forceps or tweezers. All the woodpecker needs is the special adaptations of its head, beak, tongue and tail. Come learn about wonderful woodpeckers with an interactive presentation followed by hands-on activities and a craft. |
