An Introduction to the Invasive Species of Missouri April 7th • Saturday • 10am to 1pm (Ages 12 and up) **Please register each person individually. Reservations begin March 24th. Come find out what plants and animals are invasive to Missouri, what you can do to help control these invasive species and how to prevent the continued spread. After about an hour of presentations in the classroom, we will spend 2 hours outside (weather dependent) working on removing some invasive species (a mix of bush honeysuckle, winter creeper, garlic mustard and Japanese honey suckle). Please bring work gloves (gardening gloves or leather gloves), wear long sleeves, and bring water and snacks. Work will include cutting, pulling and spraying (with chemicals such as Roundup).
