Call to register. Registration required. (ages 15 years and older) This wetland is a favorite birding hotspot on the Great Missouri Birding Trail because of the great number of birds that use this area. This time of year will likely provide great numbers of waterfowl of a variety of species, along with herons, hawks, eagles, and other water-loving birds. This is a great introduction to the popular sport of birding. We will provide spotting scopes. Bring a lunch, water, snacks, and binoculars, or borrow a pair of ours. Meet at Runge.
