Registration begins April 3 (ages 12+) Spring is a great time to view many species of plants emerging and blooming. However, on this trip we are going to investigate the special trees that live in the wetlands of Southeast Missouri by canoe. By the end of the trip, you all will be budding dendrologists! Registration begins April 3 (ages 12+) Spring is a great time to view many species of plants emerging and blossoming. However, on this trip we are going to investigate the special trees that live in the wetlands of Southeast Missouri by canoe. By the end of the trip, you all will be budding dendrologists! All canoes and life jackets will be provided. You must use our canoe, but you can bring your own personal life jacket. This will be an all-day program so bring a sack lunch. There is the possibility to get wet while canoeing so bring extra dry clothes. We will have free transportation available for 12 participants, and canoe space for 4 participants who wish to meet us there. If riding with us, please select that event.
