No fishing or boating experience needed, Participants will get started by learning basic fishing equipment, casting, proper fish handling, knot tying, rigging a pole and line, and baiting a hook. We will do some bank fishing, learn about fishing regulations, and end the day fishing from a small john boat while practicing using a trolling motor. Women 18 years and older, 14 and up can attend with a parent or guardian. KATHI MOORE
Location Information

Hunnewell Lake Conservation Area covers 1,905 acres and includes a 228-acre lake, and a fish hatchery. The hatchery raises a variety of fish including channel catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill sunfish, walleye, and hybrid sunfish for stocking.
Directions:

From the town of Hunnewell, MO on Hwy 36, take Route Z north 3 miles to the area. The entrance to the area will be on the left hand side of Route Z.
