The Missouri Hunting Heritage Federation and the Missouri Department of Conservation invite first-time youth hunters ages 11 to 17 to attend this waterfowl clinic in Saline County. This event will begin with Hunter Education classroom and skills sessions on the evening of Friday, 12/13/19, and the morning of Saturday, 12/14/19. On Saturday afternoon, participants will attend structured shotgun training at a live fire session. The event will culminate with a waterfowl hunt on private property on the morning of 12/15/19. Participants must attend the entire event in order to participate in the hunt portion of the clinic. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entirety of the clinic and need to be properly licensed for a waterfowl hunt. Lunch will be provided on Sunday, 12/15/19, but all other food and lodging is the responsibility of the participants. Firearms, ammunition, and waders will be provided for participants, if needed. The clinic is provided free of charge, but MHHF does require a $20 refundable deposit to hold the participant’s place in the clinic. More detailed information will be communicated to registered participants before the event. For questions, contact Lee Vogel at lv@waconda.us LEE M VOGEL
